Field Notes
The Field Notes tab allows structured recording of accompanying information for each spring. It consists of three sub-tabs: General, Structure and Taxon.
General Tab
The General tab contains:
- Rich-text editor: Free text with formatting (bold, italic, lists, numbered lists)
- Photos: Any number of photos taken directly or imported from the gallery
- Documents: Any file attachments (PDF, Word, images, etc.)
- Bold (B button or keyboard shortcut)
- Italic (I button)

- Numbered list
- ~~Strikethrough~~
Structure Tab
The Structure tab is identical to the General tab, but without document attachments. It is for notes directly related to the structural evaluation, e.g. special features of the site or observations about impairments.
Taxon Tab
The Taxon tab records detailed observations on individual taxa. Each entry has:
- Taxon name: Autocomplete from the 359-taxon list (free entry also accepted)
- Count: Number of observed individuals
- Life stage: L (larva), A (adult) or undefined
- Notes: Rich-text note field (collapsible)
- Photos: Photos for this taxon
Class Badge
With count > 0, a colour-coded class badge (e.g. "Cl. 3") appears and the card background is tinted. This makes it easier to get a visual overview.
