First Launch

When you first open SpringEval, you can choose between two modes: Guest mode or Sign in / Register.

Guest Mode

Guest mode requires no account or registration. You can start immediately and create up to 2 springs.

Choose guest mode if:

• You want to try the app
• You only occasionally need a single assessment
• You don't need cloud sync

Note: In guest mode, your data is stored locally only. If you delete the app or change devices, the data is lost. Migration to an account later is not possible.

Create an Account

For all features, we recommend creating an account:

• Tap "Create account" on first launch
• Enter your email address and choose a password (min. 8 characters)
• Check your confirmation email and click the link
• Return to the app: you will be signed in automatically

Important: Use the same email address you will use when purchasing a licence at mpeditech.com. This is the only way the licence can be automatically assigned to your account.

Sign In (existing account)

If you already have an account:

• Tap "Sign in"
• Enter email and password
• Tap "Log in"

Forgot your password? Use the "Reset password" link to receive a reset email.

After the First Launch

After signing in, you arrive at the Home screen with two tabs:

• List: All your springs in a list view with search
• Map: All springs on a SwissTopo map, colour-coded by ÖWS score

Tap the "+" icon to create a new spring.
