First Launch

On first launch the app creates a default taxonomy tree to help you get started immediately.

You can rename, extend, or delete any of these categories at any time from the Taxonomy tab.

First Steps

After the first launch:

• The app opens on the Gallery tab, which will be empty until you add your first observation.
• Tap the camera FAB (large green circle) to take your first photo or import one from your camera roll.
• The Classify screen will appear — assign a taxonomy tag to your observation and optionally record a GPS position.
• Tap Save to add the observation to your Gallery.

> Tip: You can customise the default taxonomy tree at any time. Go to the Taxonomy tab and add, rename, or delete categories to match your field of study.
